Meanwhile, the India Meteorological Department’s regional center in Bhubaneswar has issued a yellow warning for light to moderate rain, thundershowers, and lightning in many Odisha districts.

Yellow Warning (Be Aware): Thunderstorm with lightning is very likely to occur at isolated places in the districts of Mayurbhanj, Keonjhar, Sundargarh, Balasore, Bhadrak, Jajpur, Kendrapara, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Puri, Khurda, Nayagarh, Ganjam, and Gajapati.
