According to Union Minister Piyush Goyal, India aims to dominate the global market in all industries and predicts that the $3 trillion nation’s economy will “very soon” grow to $30 trillion.

According to the minister of textiles, trade, and industry, the domestic textile industry has enormous potential for job creation in the coming years.

According to an official statement, the center is actively negotiating with various nations to finalize a free trade agreement that will provide duty-free access to the global market for India’s textile industry.
Mr. Goyal stated at a gathering in Coimbatore that the center was boosting both the cotton and manufactured textile sectors in order to increase its share of the global market and, as a result, the number of job opportunities.

“In all sectors, we want to become a global industry. We want to capture the world market,” he said, adding that under the guidance of the Prime Minister, the Centre is working actively with different countries to finalise free trade agreement which will give zero-duty access to the textile sector in the world market.

Because of the Prime Minister’s cordial relationships with world leaders, India now commands respect around the world.

During the opening of SIMA Texfair 2022 in Coimbatore, Mr. Goyal emphasized that the center was assisting both the cotton and manufactured textile sectors in increasing their global market share and, as a result, increasing investment and job opportunities.

According to Mr. Goyal, manufacturing of textiles, pumps, wet grinders, essential components, and so on will shift to Tamil Nadu, boosting the country’s economy.

He emphasized the sector’s efforts as well as the government’s numerous policy initiatives in order to reach $440 billion in exports.

He went on to say that the country would quickly rise from its current $3 trillion to $30 trillion.

The administration has aggressively addressed all structural issues, such as tariff barriers, taxation challenges, global competitiveness issues, and so on.

The minister urged everyone involved in the manufacturing value chain to work hard, stick together, and take the lead. He extended an invitation to all aspiring female entrepreneurs, encouraging them to make investments and advance the country’s development.

“We have chosen to promote SITRA (Supply of Improved Tool-Kits to Rural Artisans) so that they may develop more defense-related products which would help our jawans at the border,” the minister stated when discussing plans to manufacture uniforms for defence personnel in India.

“Instead of being imported, the uniforms would be made in India. For some products, some clinical studies are necessary. As part of the National Technical Textile Mission, I have pledged to support this. They will submit a proposal soon,” he added.
