Infinix launched a new budget smartphone in India today. The Infinix Smart 6 Plus smartphone joins the company’s Infinix Smart 6 smartphone, which retails for Rs 7,499 in India. The newly released Infinix Smart 6 Plus features a large 6.82-inch display, a 5,000mAh battery, and an 8MP dual camera on the back.
Price and availability:
In terms of pricing, the newly released Infinix Smart 6 Plus smartphone has a single variant with 3GB of RAM and 64GB of storage space. In India, it is available in two color options: black and blue. The phone will only be available in India through Flipkart. While the phone is listed as ‘Coming Soon’ on Flipkart, Infinix India has announced it via its official Twitter handle that the Infinix Smart 6 Plus will go on sale in India starting August 3, 2022.
Notably, Infinix is also providing a slew of launch deals to interested buyers. The company is offering a discount of up to Rs 750 on SBI Credit Card purchases. Additionally, buyers who use their SBI Credit Card for EMI transactions will receive a discount of up to Rs 1,500. Aside from that, Flipkart Axis Bank Card holders will receive a 5% cashback.
In addition, interested buyers will be able to purchase the Google Nest hub for Rs 4,999 and the Google Nest Mini for Rs 1,999. In India, the two devices cost Rs 8,999 and Rs 3,499, respectively.
Specifications
In terms of specifications, the Infinix Smart 6 Plus has a 6.82-inch HD+ display with a drop-notch, a screen-to-body ratio of 90.66 percent, and a peak brightness of 440 nits. It has a unibody mirror design with a flow pattern and weighs only 202g.
The Infinix Smart 6 Plus is powered by an octa-core MediaTek Helio G25 processor, 3GB of RAM, and 64GB of storage. This space can be expanded further by inserting a microSD card with a capacity of up to 512GB. It is powered by the Android 12-based XOS 10.6 operating system. The phone’s camera setup includes an 8MP Dual AI rear camera with dual flash. It has a 5MP selfie camera on the front. The Infinix Smart 6 Plus comes with a 5,000mAh battery.
