Jawa Yezdi Motorcycles has launched an all-new Jawa 42 Bobber in India, starting at Rs. 2,06,500 ex-showroom and going up to Rs. 2,09,000 ex-showroom, Delhi. The only difference between the variants is the color, which comes in copper, white, and a dual-tone red. Along with a new look, the all-new 42 Bobber has ergonomic and technological upgrades. The same will be delivered as early as next week.
Mr. Ashish Singh Joshi, CEO – Classic Legends, revealed that the brand’s entire portfolio, which includes the three Yezdis – Adventure, Scrambler, and Roadster, as well as the Jawa Perak and 42, all have a maximum waiting period of just 1-2 months, with some even less. Classic Legends has increased production and hopes to reach around 420 by the end of December, just in time for the expected holiday rush.
The new Jawa 42 Bobber retains the brand’s signature minimalist bodywork, chopped fenders, low single seat, and fat tyres, with some color options that differ from its siblings. It gets a new round headlamp and independent clock console, as well as a new handlebar, fuel tank, and seat.
The Jawa 42 Bobber’s engine is a Perak 334cc engine that produces 30.64bhp and 32.74Nm of torque and is mated to a 6-speed transmission. According to the manufacturer, the chassis has been improved with retuned suspension and recalibrated brakes for a more precise feel. In terms of braking, the 42 Bobber comes standard with the best-in-class Continental dual channel ABS.
