The king, Shah Rukh Khan, is back with a blockbuster dubbed ‘Jawan,’ which went full house on its first day of release on Thursday and even created tremendous panic among fans.
Following the massive success of ‘Pathaan,’ SRK is back on the big screen with a massive blockbuster ‘Jawan,’ directed by Atlee.
Videos are going viral on social media, showing that as early as the press shows, which began at 6 a.m. on the first day, the first show for spectators was inundated. A video shows the full theatre dancing to the film’s ‘Not Ramaiya Vastavaiya’.
Another video shows confetti being thrown, as well as shouting, whistling, and screaming, while SRK dances on the track.
Another clip shows a massive poster cut-out of Shah Rukh Khan outside a theater, with his admirers screaming at the top of their voices for their favorite actor.
A video from Jaipur shows fans with dholaks walking around the cinema theater before watching “Jawan.” The video was published by a user with the handle @yagaa.
“Mass hysteria in Jaipur,” the video description read. Only SRK, Bollywood’s biggest megastar, can draw such a large crowd.
With the buzz that has been generated, it appears that ‘Jawan’ will even break the record set by ‘Pathaan,’ which was this year’s highest box-office earner.
Jawan stars Shah Rukh Khan in a dual character, as well as Nayanthara, Vijay Sethupathi, and Deepika Padukone (billed as a special appearance), Priyamani and Sanya Malhotra. It was theatrically released on 7 September.
