JEE Main 2023: According to a senior official, the National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release admit cards for the Joint Entrance Examination (JEE) Main 2023 exam. Candidates will be able to download their admit cards from the official JEE Main website — jeemain.nta.nic.in — once they are available.

“Since the exam is starting next week, we will release the admit cards in the next few days. The date has not yet been set, but it will be announced soon,” NTA Chief Vineet Joshi said.

According to previous year trends, admit cards were distributed approximately 4-5 days before the exam. The hall tickets for the 2022 July session were distributed on July 22, with exams scheduled to begin on July 25. Similarly, admit cards for the 2022 June session were released on June 21, when exams beginning on June 23. In the 2021 Session 4, admit cards were released four days before the exam (August 21). (August 26).

To download the hall tickets, candidates must first login with their application number and password. The JEE Main 2023 Session 1 exams are scheduled for January 24, 25, 27, 28, 29, 30, and 31, 2023. The second session will be held in the month of April, 2023.

This year’s JEE Main January session has been surrounded by controversies at every turn. Initially, when the NTA issued the official notification, aspirants complained that they had been given very little time to prepare and that the engineering entrance exam clashed with their pre-board exams, practical exams, vivas, and so on. Aside from that, the eligibility criterion of 75% in class 12 board exams for admission to NITs, IIITs, and CFTIs was criticized. Considering the criticism, the Ministry of Education announced that, in addition to the All India Rank (AIR) of the candidate JEE Main, a student must have either scored 75% or higher in the class 12 board exam,  or appear in top 20-percentile candidates of the respective board exam result.
