JEE Main 2024 Session 1 Answer Key Released: The Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) answer key for the January 2024 session has been made available by the National Testing Agency (NTA). You can find the JEE Main 2024 answer keys for papers 1 (BTech and BE) and 2 (BArch and BPlanning) on the official NTA websites, jeemain.nta.ac.in and nta.ac.in. By February 9, candidates will have the opportunity to object to the JEE answer key.
Earlier, the testing agency said it would close the answer key challenge window on February 8, however “due to technical glitch in the server”, NTA has revised the answer key challenge window.
In addition to the JEE Main answer key for paper 1 and paper 2, NTA has also released the question papers with recorded responses.
For each contested question, a non-refundable processing charge of Rs 200 must be paid. The final answer key will be made available after taking into account the complaints made by test-takers. On February 12, the JEE Main 2024 session 1 result will be released.
The first JEE Main 2024 session was hosted by NTA from January 24 to February 1. As many as 11,70,036 candidates appeared in the JEE Main paper 1 out of the 12,21,615 candidates who registered. Out of the total 74,002 enrolled students, 55,493 candidates took the JEE Main session 1 BArch paper.
JEE Main 2024 marking scheme
According to the JEE Main 2024 marking scheme, four marks will be given to the only person who marked any of the correct options if more than one option is determined to be correct. If all options are determined to be correct, four marks will be given to the person who attempted the question.
All candidates who have attended will receive full marks regardless of whether they attempted the question or not if none of the answers are determined to be accurate, a question is deemed to be incorrect, or a question is abandoned.
