JEE Main 2025 Answer Key: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will shut the deadline for submitting objections to the Joint Entrance Examination Main (JEE Main) answer key for the January 2025 session today, February 6. The answer keys for JEE Main 2024 are accessible on the NTA’s official websites, nta.ac.in and jeemain.nta.nic.in. Candidates can submit objections to the JEE Main answer key until 11.50 p.m. tonight.
A non-refundable processing fee of Rs 200 will be charged for each question contested. The final answer key will be revealed after the candidates’ grievances are addressed. The JEE Main 2025 session 1 results will be released on February 12.
If the candidate’s challenges are judged to be correct, the JEE Main 2025 January exam answer key will be changed and applied to all applicants’ responses accordingly. The JEE Main results will be generated and declared using the updated final answer keys. Individual candidates will not be informed of the acceptance or rejection of their challenge. The keys finalized by the experts following the resolution of the case will be definitive, according to the NTA.
NTA held the first session of JEE Main 2025 from January 22 to 30.
JEE Main 2025 marking scheme
The JEE Main Question Paper is divided into two sections: A and B. Each subject will have two portions. Section A will consist of Multiple-Choice Questions (MCQs), whereas Section B will include questions with numerical solutions. In both Sections A and B, erroneous answers will result in negative marking. Four marks will be awarded for each correct response, and one mark will be deducted for each incorrect answer.
There will be no marks for questions that remain unanswered and have been marked for review.
According to the JEE Main 2025 marking structure, if more than one option is deemed to be correct, four marks will be awarded to individuals who have marked any of the correct options and for questions where all options are found to be correct then four marks will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
If none of the options are accurate, a question is proven to be incorrect, or a question is withdrawn, all candidates who attended will receive full marks, regardless of whether the question was attempted or not.
