JEE Main Session 2 Result 2024 Updates: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will likely release the Joint Entrance Exam Main (JEE Main) session 2 answer key today (April 19). Following the release of the final JEE Main answer key, NTA will announce the cut-off and result. The answer key and JEE Main result link will be accessible on the official JEE Main website, jeemain.nta.ac.in.
Results for NTA JEE Main session 2 will be released together with the JEE Advanced cut-off, all India rank holders, and state-by-state winners. In the January JEE Main session 1 exam, 23 students received 100 percentile scores.
12,21,624 people registered for JEE Main overall in session 1, and 12.57 lakh in session 2. Should an applicant have participated in both sessions, the best of the candidate’s scores in JEE Main will be considered while preparing the final merit list.
The JEE Main result will be declared after the release of the answer key. The jeemain.nta.ac.in website will make the links active to check and download the final answer key and result.

As per NTA sources, due to some technical issues, the JEE Main 2024 session 2 result will be declared around April 22.
JEE Mains 2024 Result Live Updates: If the percentiles are calculated separately for each shift, then how are the scores compared?
Once the percentile scores are assigned to each candidate in every shift, these indicate the relative position of the candidate in their respective shift. This is a common, uniform scale of marks and hence the percentile scores can be compared with each other.
JEE Mains 2024 Result Updates: Check tie-breaking policy
Tie between candidates obtaining equal Total NTA scores in Paper 1: B.E./B.Tech will be resolved in the following manner in descending order:
i. NTA score in Mathematics, followed by
ii. NTA score in Physics, followed by
iii. NTA score in Chemistry, followed by
iv. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in all the subjects in the Test,
followed by
v. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Mathematics in the Test, followed by
vi. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Physics in the Test, followed by
vii. Candidate with less proportion of a number of attempted incorrect answers and correct answers in Chemistry in the Test followed by
viii. Older in Age followed by
ix. Application Number in ascending order

JEE Mains 2024 Result Live Updates: How to check final answer key
Step 1: Go to the official website – jeemain.nta.nic.in and ntaresults.nic.in.
Step 2: Select the answer key link given on the home page.
Step 3: Login using date of birth (DOB) and application number.
Step 4: Click on submit button and final answer key will be displayed on screen .
Step 5: Candidates are advised to download and save it for future references
There will be no re-evaluation or re-checking of JEE Main 2024 result once declared. The decision of the NTA will be final in respect of the JEE result.
