Jeep India has released a new Club Edition model of the Compass and Meridian SUVs. They are based on the base model of these SUVs, but thanks to a limited-time offer, they are significantly less expensive than the standard models. In terms of pricing, here’s how the new Jeep Compass and Meridian Club Editions compare to their regular counterparts.

Jeep only offers a petrol engine in the Compass Club Edition, while the Meridian gets a diesel mill. The new Jeep Compass Club Edition costs Rs 20.99 lakh, while the Meridian Club Edition costs Rs 27.75 lakh ex-showroom. They are significantly less expensive than their base-spec counterparts. This offer, however, is only valid until February 28, 2023.
What’s new in the Jeep Compass and Meridian Club Edition?
The Jeep Compass Club Edition and Meridian Club Edition models are based on the SUVs’ base trims, which are Sport for the Compass and Limited for the Meridian. Cosmetic changes include a new hood decal and a ‘Club Edition’ badge on the tailgate. Apart from these minor changes, the SUVs’ feature set and mechanicals remain unchanged.
Jeep Compass, Meridian Club Edition: Engine and gearbox
The Compass Club Edition is powered by a 1.4-litre turbocharged petrol engine with 160 bhp and 250 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed manual transmission. Its higher variants also get a 7-speed DCT. The Jeep Meridian is powered by a 2.0-liter, four-cylinder multijet diesel engine that develops 167 bhp and 350 Nm of peak torque, mated to a 6-speed MT. Its top-spec variants also get a 9-speed AT and AWD drivetrain.
