The JioBook laptop is now available in India for less than Rs 15,000 to anyone. People with a limited budget for laptops should consider purchasing the JioBook laptop. Earlier this month, at the India Mobile Congress (IMC), Reliance Jio unveiled its first-ever laptop. The device was then made available to government officials, and it is now available to the general public.
The JioBook laptop has a starting price of Rs 15,799, which is slightly less than the original price. The device was initially priced at Rs 19,500 on the government website. The laptop appears to be listed at a reduced price or made available to regular users at a lower price range. Buyers who are interested can obtainthe device through Reliance Digital Store.
Several bank cards offer an instant discount of up to Rs 5,000. The platform provides a flat Rs 3,000 discount on credit cards from leading banks, as well as Rs 5,000 off credit card EMI transactions. Debit cardholders will also be eligible for discounts, which can be found on the Reliance Digital website.
The JioBook is aimed at people on a tight budget who want a laptop for basic tasks like browsing and education. It has an 11.6-inch HD display. This one has large bezels and a front-facing 2-megapixel camera for video calls. It is driven by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 665 SoC with an Adreno 610 GPU.
Because it only has 2GB of RAM, multitasking will be difficult. It comes with 32GB eMMC storage that can be expanded up to 128GB. JioOS, which the company claims is well-optimized for smooth performance, powers the laptop. The laptop even has a JioStore, which allows users to install any third-party app.
Under the hood is a 5,000mAh battery that Reliance Jio claims can provide up to 8 hours of battery life on a single charge. For heat emission, there is also passive cooling support. A 3.5mm audio jack, Bluetooth 5.0, HDMI mini, Wi-Fi, and other connectivity options are available. Surprisingly, the device includes an embedded Jio SIM card, allowing users to activate Jio 4G LTE connectivity.
