JoSAA Counselling 2024: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has released the counselling schedule for admission across the National Institute of Technology (NITs) and Indian Institute of Technology (IITs), other institutes in India. The timetable states that on June 10, registration for JoSAA counseling 2024 will open. Candidates who meet the requirements can register by going to the official website, https://josaa.nic.in/.
The Ministry of Education (formerly the Ministry of Human Resources Development (MHRD)) established the Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) 2024 to oversee and control the joint seat allocation process for admissions to 121 institutes for the 2024–2025 academic year. Included in this are 40 Other-Government Funded Technical Institutes (Other-GFTIs), 23 IITs, 31 NITs, IIEST Shibpur, 26 IIITs, and more. There will be a single platform used for admission to all of these Institutes’ academic programs.

- Candidate registration/choice filling for academic programs under JoSAA STARTS; candidateswho qualify for the Architecture Aptitude Test (AAT) can fill in their AAT-specific choicesstarting from June 14, 2024, after the declaration of the AAT result. Pre-payment of the JoSAA seat acceptance fee starts: 10 June 2024

JoSAA 2024 allocates seats as per the seat matrix data provided by the participating Institutes. It is the sole responsibility of each participating institute to provide the seat matrix data taking into consideration the reservation and other policies applicable to them / decided by them. JoSAA 2024 is NOT responsible for the seat matrix data.
Candidates will not be permitted to modify any of their personal information, including name, guardian/father/mother name, date of birth, Class XII (or equivalent) examination board, and (birth) category, at the time of registration on the JoSAA website. Candidates may, however, alter their gender, country, passing class XII status (subject to the restrictions outlined in Clause 72), and year and location.
