JoSAA Counselling Schedule Revised Datesheet 2023: The Joint Seat Allocation Authority (JoSAA) has changed the dates for counselling. According to the amended JoSAA counselling timetable, the last day to answer to queries for Round 6 and the final round of seat distribution for IITs would be on Saturday, July 29, 2023. The amended date sheet is available on the official website – josaa.nic.in. If the document verification officer has any questions throughout the document verification process, the candidate must answer online (via the candidate portal) within the time limit.
Failure to respond to the query(ies) on time will result in the revocation of the assigned seat and the candidate’s inability to participate in the JoSAA 2023 process. It is the candidate’s responsibility to monitor the online portal at regular intervals and answer to queries (if any) within the time frame specified. Only candidates who have successfully paid the seat acceptance fee are subject to document verification.

Seats will be guaranteed by IITs / NIT+ System Institutes only once the uploaded documents have been successfully verified and the candidate has met all of the qualifying conditions.
If all of the documents are deemed to be valid and the candidate meets all of the qualifying criteria, the allotted seat will be provisionally confirmed and the candidate will be notified via the online JoSAA 2023 site. If all of the documents are confirmed to be valid and the candidate meets the eligibility conditions, a “Provisional Seat Allotment letter” will be available for download on the online portal.
