The trailer for the upcoming film ‘Tejas’ has been released.
Tejas is a patriotic action film starring Bollywood actress Kangana Ranaut as Tejas Gill, who is ready to take on the nation’s adversaries and make them taste their own medicine.
The teaser jumps right into the action, beginning with a long image of an aircraft hangar with its gates slowly sliding open as an Indian Air Force aircraft makes its way out. It then changes to a shot of Kangana in silhouette inside a locker room, taking out her dog tag chain and wearing it. The audience then sees her eponymous character’s name, Tejas Gill, on her uniform. The shot is then intercut with that of the aircraft taxiing out of the hangar.
Kangana’s dramatic words fill the picture next, as she exclaims, “Zaroori nahi ki baatcheet honi chaahiye.” “Jang ke maidaan mein sirf jang honi chaahiye,” the camera says as it follows the missiles strapped to the plane.

Kangana’s final remarks are, “Bharat ko chhedoge to chhodenge nahi” before she dons a pair of aviators against the backdrop of the sun with her perfectly tied at the back.
The teaser’s release on Gandhi Jayanti is particularly intriguing because it speaks of a powerful retaliation, which stands in stark contrast to the founder of the nation’s concept of nonviolence, which believed in retaliation with compassion.

The film will be released in theaters on October 27.
