KGF Chapter 2 has surpassed the 1000 crore mark in gross worldwide collection, starring Yash.
After RRR, Dangal, and Baahubali: The Conclusion, this is the fourth Indian film to accomplish the feat.
Sanjay Dutt, Raveena Tandon, Srinidhi Shetty, and Prakash Raj also appear in KGF 2.

On Saturday, film trade analyst Ramesh Bala tweeted, “#KGFChapter2 has crossed 1,000 Crs Gross Mark now at WW Box Office..” Only the fourth Indian film to do so, following #Dangal, #Baahubali2 and #RRRMovie.”

KGF 2, which was released in theatres worldwide on April 14, had a gross domestic collection of 134.50 crore on its first day. The movie is a sequel to the Kannada blockbuster KGF: Chapter 1. Rocky (Yash), an orphan who rises from poverty to become the king of a gold mine, is the protagonist of the two-part film series. In the period action drama, Sanjay plays the antagonist Adheera.

Previously, Sanjay’s wife Maanayata had written a note about how the film was a special journey for not only the actor but also his family because he was battling cancer during filming. “The film has been a special journey for us in more ways than one,” she said in a statement.

Those who have frequently labelled him as irresponsible, uncommitted, and a bad boy should watch this film to see his determination, dedication, and commitment.”

Maanayata described Sanjay as a “hero,” adding, “Sanju shot this film during the most vulnerable phase of his life… our lives.”
He shot all those strenuous scenes with the same passion he always did.
He is the film’s HERO in my opinion. Cool, strong, spirited, and a fighter to the end! Adheera is the owner of KGF2!
Sanju, on the other hand, is back with a bang, and he couldn’t have said it better himself – aa raha hoon mein.”
