KVS Class 2-12 Admission 2025: The offline admissions process for all grades, including Balvatika-2 and classes 2 through 10, has begun, according to the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangatha (KVS). Starting on April 2, the offline registration and form submission process will continue until April 11, 2025.
When a parent or guardian wants their child admitted to a Kendriya Vidyalaya (KV), they must turn in the completed application forms in person at the school between 10 a.m. and 4 p.m.
The admission timetable states that admissions will take place from April 18 to April 21 and that the first preliminary selection list will be revealed on April 17.
KVS Admission 2025: Important dates
The registration process for Balvatika-1, Balvatika-3, and Class 1 was completed in March 2025. The lottery results for Class 1 were announced on March 27, 2025, while the first provisional lists for Balvatika-1 and Balvatika-3 have already been made available on the official portal at balvatika.kvs.gov.in. The second provisional list for these categories is expected to be released today.

KVS Admission 2025: What is the age criteria for Balvatika admissions
Balvatika-1 requires children to be between the ages of 3 and 4, Balvatika-2 between the ages of 4 and 5, and Balvatika-3 between the ages of 5 and 6, all determined as of March 31, 2025, in accordance with the Kendriya Vidyalaya Sangathan (KVS) admission guidelines. In order to provide a systematic and age-appropriate enrollment procedure at all levels, the minimum age requirement for admittance into Class 2 and beyond grows gradually, beginning at 6 to 8 years for Class 2.
The deadline for admission to all classes (except from class 11) is June 30, 2025, thus parents and guardians submitting applications for their child’s entrance should be aware of this. The region’s Deputy Commissioners may, however, prolong admissions until July 31 if there are still seats available, provided that each section’s class size does not exceed 40 students.
