SAR Group’s electric mobility unit, Lectrix EV, has launched a new e-scooter in India. The 2023 Lectrix LXS electric scooter was released in India at an introductory price of Rs 97,999, ex-showroom. It is available in two models: LXS G2.0 and LXS 3.0. Bookings are now available, and deliveries will begin on August 16, 2023.

The new LXS G2.0 is priced at Rs 1.03 lakh ex-showroom, while the LXS G3.0’s price has yet to be disclosed. Also, the first 10,000 clients will receive the Lectrix LXS G2.0 at a special introductory price of Rs 97,999, ex-showroom. These e-scooters will be available in over 100 cities around the country, according to the business.
Lectrix LXS e-scooters: Battery, range and performance
The battery pack in the Lectrix LXS G2.0 is 2.3 kWh, whereas the battery pack in the LXS G3.0 is 3 kWh. They are said to have a riding range of up to 80 km and a maximum range of 105 km on a single charge. These e-scooters feature two riding modes: Eco and Power, and they can reach speeds of up to 60 kmph.
Lectrix LXS e-scooters: Hardware and features
The new Lectrix LXS e-scooters have telescopic front forks and coil spring shockers in the rear. Drum units at either end with CBS perform braking tasks. They are propelled by sheetmetal 10-inch wheels. Navigation help, follow-me headlamp, keyless access, emergency SOS warning, and other amenities are also available on the LXS electric scooters.
