The Scorpio Classic has been officially launched in India by Mahindra today.. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic is essentially a facelifted version of the previous-generation Scorpio, and it will be available alongside the new Scorpio-N. The 2022 Mahindra Scorpio Classic has an ex-showroom price of Rs 11.99 lakh. It comes in two versions with seven or nine seats.

The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic 2022 is available in two trim levels: S and S11. The ex-showroom price of this mid-size SUV ranges from Rs 11.99 lakh to Rs 15.49 lakh. It will also be available in five different color schemes. Red Rage, Napoli Black, Dsat Silver, Pearl White, and a new Galaxy Grey are among them. All Mahindra dealerships in India now stock the Scorpio Classic.
Test drives and bookings have already begun, and deliveries are expected to begin soon. The new Mahindra Scorpio Classic is powered by the Gen-2 version of the tried-and-true 2.2-litre mHawk diesel engine. This engine produces 130 bhp and a whopping 300 Nm of peak torque. It is paired with a 6-speed manual gearbox and gets RWD set-up only.
The Mahindra Scorpio Classic also receives cosmetic updates. It has a blacked-out grille with the Mahindra ‘Twin Peaks’ logo on the front. The SUV also receives new bumpers and foglamp housing, as well as new alloy wheels. It has a new 9.0-inch touchscreen infotainment system, visual changes to the dashboard, and more. The Mahindra Scorpio Classic will compete with the Tata Safari, Hyundai Alcazar, Mahindra Scorpio-N, and other vehicles.
