Mahindra has unveiled the pricing for the Thar Roxx 4×4, commencing at Rs 18.79 lakh ex-showroom, with automatic options starting at Rs 20.99 lakh. The Thar Roxx 4×4 is only available with a diesel engine and has two power options. Meanwhile, the petrol version of the Thar Roxx is only available with a 2-wheel-drive system.
Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4: Variants and Prices
The Thar Roxx 4×4 comes in three variants: MX5, AX5L, and AX7L. The base MX5, with a 6-speed manual transmission, costs Rs 18.79 lakh, which is Rs 1.79 lakh higher than the 4×2 petrol counterpart. The AX5L has a 6-speed automatic torque converter transmission and is priced at Rs 20.99 lakhs. The flagship AX7L model provides both manual and automatic gearboxes and costs Rs 20.99 lakh and Rs 22.49 lakh, respectively. Meanwhile, the petrol automatic version is priced at Rs 19.99 lakh, making it Rs 2.5 lakh less expensive than the diesel version.

Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4: Features
The Thar Roxx 4×4 has the 4XPLOR System, which comprises an Electronic Locking Differential for improved traction. It also has a Smart Crawl feature, which acts as a cruise control up to 30 km/h when handling steep inclines or drops without pedal input. The ‘Intelliturn’ feature locks the inner rear wheel, reducing the turning radius.
The Thar Roxx has two drive modes: Zip and Zoom, and it shows off-roading data including a compass, roll and pitch, and an altimeter. It also includes three terrain settings for varying conditions: snow, sand, and mud.
Mahindra Thar Roxx 4×4: Engine
The Thar Roxx 4×4 features a 2.2-liter diesel engine with two power outputs. The manual variant delivers 150 horsepower and 330 Nm of torque, while the automated version produces 172 bhp and 370 Nm of torque.
