Maruti Suzuki, India’s largest automobile manufacturer, has introduced a CNG version of the Fronx subcompact SUV. The all-new Maruti Suzuki Fronx has been unveiled in India, with an ex-showroom price of Rs 8.42 lakh. This is the company’s 15th CNG model on the market. Bookings are now available, and deliveries will begin soon.

Maruti Suzuki offers the Fronx S-CNG in two configurations: Sigma and Delta. Ex-showroom pricing range from Rs 8.42 lakh to Rs 9.28 lakh. The CNG models of the Fronx cost Rs 95,000 more than their petrol manual counterparts. It’s also worth noting that the petrol Fronx costs between Rs 7.47 lakh and Rs 13.14 lakh ex-showroom.
Maruti Suzuki Fronx S-CNG: Powertrain and mileage
The Maruti Fronx S-CNG is powered by a 1.2-litre naturally-aspirated bi-fuel petrol engine that produces 88.5 horsepower and 113 Nm of torque in petrol mode. However, in CNG mode, it produces 76.5 horsepower and 98.5 Nm and is only available with a 5-speed manual transmission. The Fronx S-CNG is said to have a mileage of 28.51 km/kg.
