Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG launched at Rs 8.20 lakh: Price, Mileage

The 2024 Maruti Suzuki Swift has constantly rated in the top three since its release in May, with the exception of August. To sustain its pace, the Indian manufacturer introduced the Swift CNG, which starts at Rs 8.20 lakh ex-showroom. It competes with the Tata Tiago CNG and the Grand i10 Nio CNG, albeit the Maruti Suzuki hatchback is slightly more expensive than the two competitors.

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Engine Specs

The Swift CNG continues to be powered by the 1.2-litre 3-cylinder Z Series naturally aspirated petrol engine, which produces 69 bhp at 5700 rpm and 101.8 Nm at 2900 rpm. It is equipped with a 5-speed manual transmission and achieves a mileage of 32.85 km/kg. According to Maruti Suzuki , the Swift CNG is the most fuel-efficient hatchback and offers a 6 per cent improvement over the previous generation.

Speaking to Partho Banerjee, Senior Executive Officer, Marketing and Sales, Maruti Suzuki India Limited, he said, “Every third vehicle is CNG and CNG accounts for 33 per cent of total sales so far in FY25.” He further revealed that the Swift CNG deliveries will begin from September 14 onwards starting from Gujarat. Banerjee said, “In FY 24, Maruti Suzuki sold 4.77 lakh CNG vehicles and it targeting 6 lakh units in FY25.”

Maruti Suzuki Swift CNG: Features

The Swift CNG includes six airbags, Electronic Stability Program+, Hill Hold Assist, automatic climate control, a rear AC vent, a wireless charger, 60:40 split rear seats, and a 7-inch infotainment system with connected connectivity.
