On June 30, Maruti Suzuki will launch the updated Vitara Brezza compact SUV in India. The 2022 Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is expected to be simply named Brezza, and it will be the brand’s third major launch this year, following the Ertiga and XL6 facelifts. When it is released in 2022, the Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza will face competition from the Tata Nexon, Nissan Magnite, Mahindra XUV300, and others.
Maruti Suzuki Vitara Brezza is one of the brand’s best-selling models. Since its inception, the compact SUV has been one of the brand’s top revenue generators. The upcoming updated model is expected to include numerous exterior and interior updates.
Expect the SUV’s front grille to be revised and sharpened. LED projector headlamps with integrated LED daytime running lights would be sharper and crisper. Front and rear bumpers would be updated, and the alloy wheels would be redesigned as well. For the first time, it may include a sunroof. This would eventually elevate the new Brezza above the current model.
Inside the cabin, the new Brezza is expected to receive a slew of updates. While the dashboard and overall layout of the cabin may change, new features will be added. It could have a nine-inch touchscreen infotainment system similar to the new XL6 and Ertiga.
A 360-degree camera, ventilated seats, HUD display, automatic climate control, wireless charging ambient lighting, six airbags, and other features could be included. Suzuki’s connected car technology is expected to be integrated into the touchscreen infotainment system. Expect the SUV to be powered by the same 1.5-litre K-Series petrol engine found in the updated Ertiga and XL6.
