At Auto Expo 2023, MG Motor India unveiled the much-anticipated facelifted versions of the Hector and Hector Plus. This next-generation Hector is priced between Rs 14.73 lakh and Rs 22.42 lakh. The Hector Plus, on the other hand, is priced starting at Rs 17.49 lakh. This SUV is now available for reservation.
The new Hector comes in five models: Style, Smart, Smart Pro, Sharp Pro, and Savvy Pro.
The SUV retains its predecessor’s 1.5-litre petrol engine, which is mated to a 6-speed manual or CVT automatic transmission.
The new MG Hector has Level 2 ADAS features, a revised design, updated interiors, safety features, and more. This MG flagship SUV is available in 5, 6, and 7-seat configurations.
In terms of interiors, the Hector 2023 has a dual-tone argil brown and black theme with a wooden finish. One of the major exterior updates is a massive chrome grille.
The SUV comes with 11 ADAS features, including Traffic Jam Assist (TJA) and Auto Turn Indicators. This SUV also comes with a 14-inch HD portrait infotainment system, which is the largest touchscreen infotainment system in India.
Furthermore, the Next-Gen Hector now has over 75 connected features, including 100 voice commands. While the commands are mostly in English, it also responds to Hindi and Hinglish as well.
The Next-Gen Hector also has enhanced safety features such as 6 airbags, a 360-degree HD camera, Electronic Stability Program (ESP), Traction Control System (TCS), Hill Assist Control (HAC), four-wheel disc brakes, three-point seat belts for all seats, an electric parking brake (EPB), and front parking sensors.
