Microsoft has introduced their Surface product portfolio for 2023. It includes the Surface Go 4, Surface Laptop Go 3, and Surface Laptop Studio 2. The new Surface Laptop Studio 2 is billed as the most powerful Surface ever created. It is clear from all of the improvements it has gotten over its predecessor. You get a faster CPU, a better GPU, more RAM, and even an Intel NPU. Here’s a breakdown of what it has to offer and how much it costs.
Microsoft Surface Laptop Studio 2 Price and Availability
The Surface Laptop Studio 2 is available in multiple configurations with up to 64GB RAM, up to 2TB SSD, and NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060 GPU. It starts at USD 1,199.99 and goes all the way up to USD 3,699.99. All variants are powered by the same 13th Gen Intel Core i7 processor.

The Surface Laptop Studio 2 has a 14.4-inch PixelSense Flow touchscreen display with a 3:2 aspect ratio, a resolution of 2400 x 1600 pixels, and Corning Gorilla Glass 5. The panel supports a refresh rate of up to 120Hz, Dolby Vision IQ, and HDR. It comes with Omnisonic speakers and Dolby Atmos, making it a comprehensive entertainment package. For those who are primarily concerned with performance, the new-generation laptop includes a 13th Generation Intel Core i7 H-series processor. There are various GPU configurations available, all the way up to the NVIDIA GeForce RTX 4060. Microsoft claims that the new edition has twice the graphical performance. It also has the first Intel Neural Processing Unit (NPU) in a Windows PC. Buyers will be able to select between 16GB, 32GB, and 64GB LPDDR5X RAM. This is the first time we’ve seen a Surface computer with 64GB of RAM. There are detachable SSD storage options of 512GB, 1TB, and 2TB. There are two USB-C ports, one USB-A port, a 3.5mm headphone jack, a Surface Connect port, a microSD card reader, and a haptic touchpad with better feedback. In addition, the Surface Slim Pen 2 stylus with built-in storage and charging is included. The freedom with which the Surface Laptop Studio can be used has been its USP. You can use it in three modes: Laptop for productivity, Studio for creativity, and Stage for entertainment. It has a webcam with 1080p resolution and Windows Studio Effects and Windows Hello 2.0 facial recognition support. The Surface Laptop Studio 2 has WiFi 6E and Bluetooth 5.3 wireless connectivity. It will ship with Windows 11 Home for general consumers and with Windows 11 Pro for commercial customers.

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is available in Platinum, Sage, Sandstone, and Ice Blue. The 8GB RAM + 256GB storage variant starts at $799.99 (about Rs 66,400). The model with 16GB of RAM and 256GB of storage costs $999.99 (about Rs 83,000). It will go on sale in the United States on October 3. The laptop is also mentioned on the Microsoft India website, indicating that it would be available in India soon. The lowest 64GB storage model of the Surface Go 4 costs $579 (about Rs 48,100).

The Microsoft Surface Laptop Go 3 is powered by an Intel Core i5-1235U processor with Intel Iris Xe Graphics. The laptop has 256GB SSD storage and up to 16GB of RAM. It also has a 720p HD camera with an aperture of f/2.0. The Surface Laptop Go 3 sports a 12.4-inch PixelSense display with a resolution of 1536 x 1024 pixels. The display panel features a 3:2 aspect ratio, 148 PPI pixel density, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. It also boasts a full-size keyboard and a precise touchpad for easy navigation and scrolling. There are also Omnisonic speakers with Dolby Audio Premium and two far-field studio mics on the laptop. It includes numerous connectivity options, including Wi-Fi 6 802.11ax, Bluetooth 5.1 LE, one USB 3.2 port, one USB-A 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, and a Surface connect port. The laptop packs a 40Wh battery which is claimed to offer 15 hours of battery life. 
In terms of specifications, the Surface Go 4 has a 10.5-inch PixelSense display. The screen features a 3:2 aspect ratio, a contrast ratio of 1500:1, and is protected by Corning Gorilla Glass 3. The Surface Go 4 is powered by an Intel N200 processor and Intel UHD graphics. The Surface Go 4 has storage options of 64GB, 128GB, and 256GB. It also has an 8MP back camera, a 5MP front-facing camera, and a 2W speaker with Dolby Audio compatibility. Both the front and rear cameras are capable of recording 1080p Full HD video. The Surface Go 4 also contains one USB-C 3.1 port, a 3.5mm audio jack, one Surface Connect port, a Surface Type Cover port, and one Surface Connect port, a MicroSDXC card reader, Wi-Fi 6, and Bluetooth v5.1 support.
