National Teachers Awards 2022: On the occasion of Teacher’s Day, which was observed across the country today, President Droupadi Murmu bestowed the National Teachers Award on 45 distinguished teachers from across the country. Today at 11 a.m., the event was held at Vigyan Bhawan. The President presented the awards to the winning teachers. Teachers who worked hard to make learning enjoyable for their students were also recognized with the National Teachers Award. Check out the complete list of National Teachers Awards 2022 which will be conferred by President Draupadi Murmu today. The list consists of two teachers, one from Andaman and Nicobar Islands and another one from Uttarakhand, who will be awarded in the Special Category for differently-abled teachers.

About the National Teacher Awards 2022
Every year on Teachers Day, September 5th, the Union Education Ministry organizes the National Teachers Awards. The National Teachers Awards are given to a select group of teachers and educators who have gone above and beyond their call of duty in the classroom. The President of India and the Prime Minister have praised the country’s best teachers for their dedication and hard work toward nation building.
