NEET PG scorecard 2023: Today, March 25, the National Board of Examinations (NBE) is expected to release the National Eligibility-cum-Entrance Test-Postgraduate (NEET PG 2023) scorecard. Medical students who qualified based on the NEET PG results 2023 will be able to access their individual scorecards via the official websites, natboard.edu.in or nbe.edu.in.
The NEET PG result was announced on March 14, and the cut-off score for general and EWS categories is 291, for general-PwBD candidates it is 274, and SC, ST, OBC candidates should have scored 257 out of 800.
NEET PG has evolved to become more focused on testing clinical knowledge over theoretical learning. As per Bharath Kumar, educator at online platform Prepladder the NEET PG’s 2023 question paper, too, showcased a stark change in its patterns, with questions being clinical-based, focusing on testing concepts, and being integrated in nature. “This was a step away from the previously featured direct questions that mainly tested an aspirant’s memory power. The question paper four years ago also featured a clear subject-based division,” he said.
The NEET PG counselling schedule will be announced soon by the Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) at mcc.nic.in. Meanwhile, state counseling authorities will hold their own rounds of counseling for 50% state quota seats in government colleges and 100% seats in private medical and minority institutes.
