The Medical Counselling Committee has altered the NEET PG counselling schedule for Round 3. The NEET PG final seat allotment list will be announced on January 18. The deadline for filling out and locking the window for round three has been extended to January 16 at 8 a.m.
Following a lowering in the percentile cut-off, the MCC has notified new dates for round three of NEET PG counselling.
The choice locking facility will be available from 8 a.m. on January 15 to 8 a.m. on January 16, according to the announcement. The seat allotment will be processed between January 16 and January 17.
Eligible candidates seeking admission to postgraduate medical colleges based on the updated cut-off percentile should register by January 15. The reporting and joining at the designated colleges will take place between January 18 and January 25.
Students from the general and EWS categories who score 15 percentiles or more will be entitled to participate in the counselling. The new and updated cut-off for NEET PG counselling is 10 percentile or higher for candidates in the SC, ST, OBC, and PwD categories.
The NEET PG cut-off percentile was 50th for unreserved categories, 45th for PWD categories, and 40th for reserved category candidates.
Last year, the NEET PG qualifying percentile was reduced to zero in all categories. The NEET PG cut-off for general category applicants has been dropped from the 50th percentile to the 35th percentile in 2022. The cut-off for unreserved PwD candidates has been reduced from the 45th percentile to the 20th percentile, and for students belonging to SC, ST, and OBC (including PwD of SC, ST, and OBC), the cut-off was reduced to the 20th percentile from 40th.
