NEET UG 2024: The National Testing Agency (NTA) will soon release the candidates’ response sheet and answer key for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test Undergraduate (NEET UG). The NEET UG 2024 exam was held across the country on Sunday, May 5. The NTA NEET official website is exams.nta.ac.in. NEET will host the NEET UG answer key for each question paper code.
In addition to the NEET answer key 2024, NTA will provide applicants with NEET OMR response sheets. NTA has yet to specify a date for the publication of the answer key. The NEET UG results date is June 14.
The NTA administered NEET UG 2024 at 4,750 exam centers across 571 cities, including 14 outside cities, to almost 24 lakh registered students. Applicants found the NEET UG 2024 exam paper easy to moderate.
The NEET UG question paper comprised – physics, chemistry and biology (botany and zoology). Each subject consisted of two sections. Section A had 35 questions and Section B 15. Out of the 15 questions in section B, candidates had to attempt any 10 questions.
NEET UG 2024: Section A Marking Scheme
– Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Four marks (+4)
– Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
– Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
If more than one option is found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct option
If none of the options is found correct or a question is found to be wrong or a question is dropped then all candidates who have appeared will be given four marks (+4) irrespective of the fact whether the question has been attempted or not attempted by the candidate
NEET UG 2024: Section B Marking Scheme
If candidates attempted more than 10 questions, only the first 10 attempted questions will be considered for evaluation.
– Correct Answer: Four marks (+4)
– Incorrect Answer: Minus one mark (-1)
– Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0)
s. However, if all options are found to be correct then four marks (+4) will be awarded to all those who have attempted the question.
If more than one option is proven to be accurate, only those who have marked any of the correct alternatives will receive four (+4) marks. If all options are judged to be right, four (+4) marks will be granted to all individuals who attempted the question.
If a question is found to be erroneous or is dropped, all individuals who attempted the question will receive four marks (+4). The reason could be either human or technical mistake.
Candidates are recommended to perform the calculations using the constants provided (if any) in the questions.
