The Medical Counseling Committee (MCC) will open registration for the second phase of National Eligibility Entrance Test – Undergraduate (NEET UG) counseling in 2024 today (September 5). This NEET UG cycle is for admission to All India Quota (AIQ) seats in MBBS and BDS programs offered by medical and dental institutes.
The deadline for applying to MCC NEET UG counseling 2024 is September 10 at mcc.nic.in. Those applying for the first time in round 2 must pay the registration cost and select universities and courses afresh.
Candidates who enrolled during the first round of MBBS and BDS counselling but were not assigned a seat or did not report to the designated seat are not required to register again.
NEET UG 2024: Schedule
Choice filling and locking: September 6 to September 10 till 11:55 pm
Processing of seat allotment: September 11 to 12
Results: September 13
Reporting and joining: September 14 till September 20
Verification of Joined candidates: September 21 to 22
For technical inquiries, the institution can contact the MCC between 10 a.m. and 6 p.m. at 011-69227413, 69227416, 69227419, and 69227423. The number of vacant seats after two rounds of NEET UG counselling will determine the stray round.
This counselling would include 15% of all India quota (AIQ) seats, as well as seats at central and deemed universities, private institutions, Armed Forces Medical Services (AFMS), Employee State Insurance Corporation (ESIC) establishments, AIIMS, and JIPMER.
