NEET UG 2024: The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) today announced the counseling schedule for the National Eligibility and Entrance Test, Undergraduate (NEET UG) 2024. Candidates can view the full counselling schedule on their official website, mcc.nic.in.
The counselling procedure for round 1 will begin on August 14. Candidates who have passed NEET UG 2024 are eligible for the counselling process. From August 14 to 15, the tentative seat matrix will be verified. Candidates will have from August 14 to August 20 (12 noon) to complete their registration and pay by 3 p.m. on August 20.
Counselling will take place for the allocation of about 110,000 MBBS seats in 710 medical institutions across the country. In addition to Ayush and nursing seats, counselling will be performed for 21,000 BDS seats.
The MCC will provide counselling for the 15% All-India Quota seats, as well as 100% of the seats at all AIIMS, JIPMER Pondicherry, central universities, and deemed universities.

- Registration and payment: August 14 to 21, 2024
- Choice filling and locking: August 16 to 20, 2024
- Processing of seat allotment: August 21 to 22, 2024
- Round 1 result: August 23, 2024
- Reporting and joining: August 24 to 29, 2024
- Verification of Joined candidates: August 30 to 31, 2024

- Identity Proof (Aadhar/PAN/Driving License/Passport)
