On 9th March, the National Eligibility cum Entrance Test UG (NEET UG) application window will closed. Those who have not yet turned in their forms can do so at neet.ntaonline.in, the official website. The agency will make an announcement later on the correction window and the day the admission card is released.
On 9th February, the application form became available. The new official website for the NEET UG application procedure is neet.ntaonline.in. The official announcement states that the exam will take place on May 5.
While applying for NEET UG 2024, all candidates are required to upload address proof (present and permanent) in the form of Aadhar card, domicile certificate, passport, voter ID, etc. Both documents (if applicable) are to be merged and uploaded as a single pdf file. If the present and permanent addresses of a candidate are same, then the same document will suffice, NTA said.
NEET UG 2024: How to apply
Step 1: Visit the official website — neet.ntaonline.in
Step 2: If you are a new student, apply through the ‘new registration’ link, or login through the link.
Step 3: Click on new registration and fill in details such as name, date of birth, gender, mobile number and email address
Step 4: Once registered, login using your application number and password.
Step 5: Fill the application form
Step 6: Save, submit and pay the fees
Step 7: Download the application form for future reference
Additionally, as all NEET-related material and communications will only be delivered to registered email addresses or phone numbers, the agency has encouraged candidates to utilize their own cell numbers and email addresses, as well as those of their parents or guardians.
Applicants must pay an application fee when completing the online application form. The registration cost for Indian candidates in the General Category is Rs 1,700. For the reserved categories, there are, nevertheless, exceptions. The application cost is Rs 1,600 for General-EWS/OBC-NCL and Rs 1,000 for SC/ST/PwBD/third gender.
