The National Eligibility cum Entrance Test for undergraduate medical courses will be administered by the National Testing Agency (NTA) using pen and paper. The testing organization also stated in a notification that the exam would only be administered in one day and one shift.
The announcement went on to state that all medical institutions require NEET (UG) for admission to undergraduate programs in BAMS, BUMS, and BSMS. Admission to the National Commission for Homeopathy’s BHMS program will also be based on NEET (UG).
Additionally, in order to be admitted to the BSc Nursing Programs offered at Armed Forces Medical Service Hospitals for 2025, MNS (Military Nursing Service) candidates must be eligible for NEET (UG). Shortlisting for admission to the four-year BSc Nursing program would be based on NEET (UG) scores.
Candidates are advised to use their APAAR ID and Aadhaar-based authentication during the application and exam processes in order to facilitate the integration of APAAR ID (Automated Permanent Academic Account Registry) with NEET UG 2025.
NTA stated that updated credentials are advised for convenience of verification and registration, and to improve the integrity of the test process, when requesting that candidates update their Aadhaar details. The NEET UG 2025 registration process will be starting in due course of time.
