The Medical Counselling Committee (MCC) revised the round two registration timetable, extending it by two days to September 16. The seat allotment will be revealed on September 19. The change would also have an impact on the scheduling for the remaining rounds of NEET UG counselling in 2024.
Students should remember the following dates:
– The choice filling and locking facility link will remain active until 11.55 pm on September 16.
– Seat allotment processing will take place from September 17 to September 18.
– The Round 2 seat allotment result will be announced on September 19.
Shortlisted medical aspirants must go to the allocated institute between September 20 and September 27 if they are selected. The joined candidates’ data will then be verified by the Institute’s competent authorities between September 28 and September 30.
NEET UG Counselling 2024: How to register for round 2
Step 1: Visit the official MCC website – mcc.nic.in
Step 2: Click on the link for ‘NEET UG counselling’. A new page will open where a candidate has to select a registration link for new login account.
Step 3: Fill in your registration details and click on submit.
Step 4: Once done re-login using the credentials and fill in the application.
Step 5: Review the application details displayed before paying the fee.
Step 6: Download the application form for future use.
Meanwhile, the portal for PwD candidates will remain accessible until September 16 at noon. The option to resign without forfeiture is granted and will be available until 11:00 a.m. on September 16.
