While the lowest temperature (nighttime temperature ) in Odisha has somewhat decreased over the past 24 hours, dense fog has obscured several areas of the state, making visibility only 50 meters.
The lowest temperature recorded on Saturday was 7.4°C on G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district, according to the India Meteorological Department (IMD). Daringbadi and Phulbani recorded minimum temperatures of 8.5°C and 9.5°C, respectively, during the past 24 hours, when the temperature was below 12°C.
Koraput recorded a minimum temperature of 8°C, followed by Semiliguda (9.9°C), Nabarangpur (11.5°C), Kirei (11.77°C), and Keonjhar, Angul, and Bhawanipatna all recording 12°C.
The twin cities of Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 14.4°C and 15.4°C respectively.
On Sunday morning, there was dense fog in Rourkela and Phulbani, which limited sight to fifty meters. Paradip, Jharsuguda, Bhawanipatna, Jharsuguda, and Keonjhar all had shallow to moderate fog.
According to the meteorological office, there will be a lot of fog in various parts of Odisha over the next three days. It further said that Odisha’s weather would mostly be dry.
