According to the National Institutional Rankings Framework (NIRF) Ranking 2021, four educational institutions from Odisha have made the Top-100 list in the overall category.
In the overall India Rankings 2022, Siksha O’ Anusandhan (SOA) University was ranked 30th, while KIIT, National Institute of Technology, Rourkela (NITR), and IIT Bhubaneswar were ranked 34th, 39th, and 65th, respectively. Furthermore, Utkal University is ranked between 101 and 150.
Three universities from the state have made the Top-100 list in the University category. SOA University has ranked 16, KIIT has ranked 20, and Utkal University has ranked 90. In addition, Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT) and CV Raman Global University are among the Top 101-150 universities.
In terms of engineering colleges, NITR was ranked 15th, SOA was 27th, IIT Bhubaneswar was 36th, KIIT was 42nd, and CV Raman was 98th. Four educational institutions are among the Top 100 in the research category: NITR (24), IIT Bhubaneswar (37), SOA (45), and KIIT (47)
In the category of medical education, four educational institutions in the state have made the Top 50 list: SOA (18), AIIMS (26), KIIT (30), and SCB (44).
Dharmendra Pradhan, Union Education Minister, announced the rankings for this year today.
