JD(U) Chief Nitish Kumar on Sunday stated he’ll take oath as Bihar CM for fourth time tomorrow afternoon. He spoke to reporters after meeting Bihar Governor Phagu Chauhan to stake declare to form government.
“Oath taking ceremony to be held tomorrow afternoon around 4.30 pm,” Kumar mentioned after leaving Raj Bhavan in Patna.
When requested if former Deputy Chief Minister Sushil Modi can be a part of the new cabinet, the JD(U) chief stated, ” The final decisions regarding the new cabinet are but to be taken. You’ll be notified as soon as it’s finalised.”
Tarkishore Prasad has been unanimously elected because the leader of BJP legislature party in Bihar, party leader Sushil Kumar Modi mentioned on Twitter.
Janata Dal (United) chief Nitish Kumar was named as the next Chief Minister of Bihar on Sunday following National Democratic Alliance’s (NDA) legislature party assembly.
Nitish Kumar has already served because the Chief Minister for 3 terms. This can be his fourth term.
This came after the leaders of NDA met at Nitish Kumar’s residence in Patna to deliberate on the Bihar Elections outcomes.
Prior to their joint meeting, JD(U) and BJP held separate meetings in Patna at present.
On Friday, the Bihar Chief Minister had tendered his resignation to Chauhan.
This comes because the constituents of the NDA, which secured a majority within the recently concluded Bihar Assembly Elections.
BJP had won 74 seats, JD(U) 43, whereas eight seats were gained by different NDA constituents.
