The Board of Secondary Education (BSE), Odisha, has released the timetable for Summative Assessment-II, which will begin on March 10, 2023.
The exam will be held from March 10 to March 20, according to the schedule. Each subject, with the exception of TLV (which is only for hearing impaired candidates) and Vocational Trade, will have 30 marks for subjective questions and 50 marks for objective questions.
Examinees must fill out the OMR Answer Sheet with their answers to all objective and subjective questions.
On the scheduled dates, the examination for each paper will begin at 8 a.m. and end at 10 a.m. Examinees will have an extra 15 minutes to answer questions on the Mathematics paper.
The Vocational Trade paper will have 20-mark questions, and the TLV paper will have 20-mark questions. The 50-mark-practical examination of Vocational Trade will be held in respective schools from February 15 till February 28 under supervision of OSEPA. The TLV practical examination will be held for 60 marks.
“The Matric Summative-II and Plus 2 Examination will be held on March 10 and March 1 respectively. In this regard, the BSE Odisha and CHSE (Council of Higher Secondary Education) have made arrangements for the annual examinations,” said Odisha School & Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash.
Odisha Matric Examination is being conducted in summative process this year. Further decision will be taken later whether the process will be adopted for the annual Class 10 examination next year,” he added.

March 10 – First Language (Odia/Bengali/Hindi/Urdu/Telugu/Alt. English)
March 13 – Second Language (English/Hindi), Environment & Population (only for hearing impaired candidates)
March 14 – Third Language (Hindi/Odia/Persian/Sanskrit)
March 16 – General Science
March 18 – Social Science
March 20 – Mathematics
