On Saturday, the majority of Odisha was blanketed in fog for the second day in a row. According to an India Meteorological Department (IMD) bulletin, dense fog is expected for the next two days in Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, Keonjhar, Jajpur, Bhadrak, Khurda, Nayagarh, and Kandhamal districts.
Furthermore, coastal Odisha and Keonjhar, Angul, Dhenkanal, and Kandhamal are likely to experience shallow to moderate fog.
During the next 24 hours, the MeT predicts shallow to moderate fog in Kalahandi, Kandhamal, Balangir, Sonepur, Boudh, Angul, Dhenkanal, Cuttack, and Keonjhar.
The bulletin went on to say that the night temperature in various parts of Odisha is unlikely to change significantly over the next five days.
G Udayagiri in Kandhamal had the lowest minimum temperature in the last 24 hours, at 5.5°C, while Semiliguda in Koraput had 8.0°C and Phulbani in Kandhamal had 8.5°C.
Bhubaneswar and Cuttack had minimum temperatures of 16.3°C and 17°C, respectively. The weather in Odisha will remain dry, according to the MeT.
