Bhubaneswar: Another 2085 COVID-19 cases have been detected in 24 hours in Odisha taking the tally 958059 on Tuesday.
With 70476 samples tested, the test positivity rate (TPR) stood at 2.9 per cent in the state.
According to the I & PR department, out of 2085 cases, 1198 have been from quarantine whereas 887 were local contact cases.
Khurda district reported the highest 528 infections, followed by Cuttack (210) and Bhadrak (173).

Another 56 Covid patients in Odisha have succumbed to the disease, informed the Health & Family Welfare Department on Tuesday.
Among the new cases, 1 each from the districts of Cuttack, Deogarh, Ganjam, Kalahandi, Koraput, and Sambalpur; 2 from Malkangiri; 3 each from Kendrapara, Keonjhar, and Puri; 6 each from Bargarh and Mayurbhanj; 8 from Sundargarh; and 19 from Khordha.
