Odisha registered 745 fresh COVID-19 cases, of which 119 covid infectees are under 18 years old, informed State Information & Public Relation Department today.
Of daily cases reported from 25 districts in last 24 hours, 435 are from different quarantine centres and 310 are the local contacts.
Total 66,106 tests were conducted in the State yesterday. With the fresh cases, the Covid TPR stands at 1.12% in the State.
While Khordha district logged the highest of 297 single-day cases, Cuttack district is placed second in terms of fresh infections of 120.
The daily cases were below 100 in remaining 23 districts of Odisha in last 24 hours.

With this, State’s total Covid caseload increased to 10,15,083 with 7087 active cases so far.
The Health & Family Welfare Department on Friday confirmed, Six more persons have succumbed to Covid-19 in Odisha.
Among the deceased persons, 1 each is from the districts of Angul, Cuttack, Jagatsinghpur, Kendrapara, Mayurbhanj, and Puri.
