The Odisha Public Service Commission (OPSC) has announced that the preliminary examination for the Odisha Civil Services Exam 2023 would be held on December 15, 2024.
This date was originally scheduled for October 27, 2024, but was postponed owing to Cyclonic Storm Dana, which made landfall in Odisha. The OPSC issued a notice stating the tentative date for the exam.
“The Commission has decided to conduct the Odisha Civil Services (Preliminary) Examination-2023, pursuant to Advt. No. 20 of 2023-24 tentatively on 15.12.2024 (Sunday). Detailed programme on the said examination shall be notified later,” the notification stated.
The exam is being conducted to fill 399 jobs in Groups A and B. Candidates who have applied for the examination should check the OPSC website (www.opsc.gov.in) on a regular basis for changes on the exam schedule and other vital information.
The OPSC OCS exam is divided into three stages: the preliminary examination, the main examination, and the personality test or interview.
