The Odisha government increased the monthly salary of Urdu resource teachers working in government completely aided and newly aided high schools, as well as Urdu instructors employed in Upper Primary and Middle English schools, from Rs 7,400 to Rs 15,,000. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik made this announcement today.
It should be noted that Urdu teachers working in various regions of the state have brought up their concerns to 5T chairman Kartik Pandian during his visits to the districts.
At the state’s Upper major, Middle English, and High Schools when more than ten students choose Urdu as their major language, the state government has hired contract Urdu teachers and Urdu Resource teachers. Prior to now, they received Rs 7,400 per month.
They will now be paid Rs. 15,000 a month as per the state government’s decision. The state government’s decision would help forty Urdu resource teachers working in government fully aided and newly aided high schools, as well as forty Urdu teachers working in Upper Primary and Middle English schools.
