On Wednesday, Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik purchased the first ticket for the FIH Men’s Hockey World Cup 2023.
The international sporting event will be held at the Kalinga Stadium in Bhubaneswar and the Birsa Munda International Hockey Stadium in Rourkela from January 13th to January 29th, 2023.
Dilip Tirkey, president of Hockey India, presented the first World Cup Hockey ticket to the Chief Minister at Naveen Nivas.
The Chief Minister happily paid Tirkey Rs 500 in cash for the ticket.
The online sale of Hockey World Cup tickets will begin soon. Fans are encouraged to pre-register for tickets by going to https://fih.formstack.com/forms/world cup tickets pre registration.
