Mission Shakti, an integrated women’s empowerment program of the Union Women & Child Development (WCD) Ministry, is to be implemented throughout the state by order of Odisha Chief Minister Mohan Charan Majhi.
With the goal of enhancing women’s safety, security, and empowerment, the Chief Minister oversaw the execution of the “Mission Shakti” initiative in Odisha.
Pradhan Mantri Matrubandana, Sakhi Niwas, Shakti Sadan, Beti Bachao Beti Padhao, One Stop Center, Women’s Helpline, Children’s Home, and Hub for Women Empowerment are all part of the program.
According to the chief minister, the state and federal governments of Odisha will coordinate better after Mission Shakti is put into practice.
