Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik began the State Level Cyber Safety Campaign at Kalinga Stadium, Bhubanswar on Saturday.
As many as 34 Cyber Safety Raths will travel around the state, visiting various schools, institutions, and panchayats to spread cyber safety awareness messages.
It is important to note here that cybercrime has become a major worry throughout the country and in the state in recent years. Preventing this requires awareness and caution. As a result, this effort has been launched to raise awareness at all levels within the state. Chief Minister Naveen Patnaik has urged everyone to remain vigilant and secure.
Tusarkanti Behera, Minister of State for Home, Ashok Panda, two MLAs from Bhubaneswar, Anant Narayan Jena and Sushant Raut, Mayor Sulochana Das, Chief Secretary PK Jena, DGP Sunil Kumar Bansal, and other officials were present.
The district administration will welcome the Cyber Safety Awareness Rath during the campaign. Every day, organizers will hold awareness campaigns in at least two educational institutions. Additionally, they will arrange awareness programmes at various crowded places in the block and police station area. Schools and colleges will conduct quiz competitions among students.
On the morning of October 8, many cities will host Mini Marathons. On the 14th, an evening stroll program will be held to raise awareness among older persons. On the 15th, there will be a valedictory celebration. Padma recipients and liberation warriors, as well as district administration officials, will be present.
Panchayat representatives, Mission Shakti members, officials and personnel from the School and Mass Education Department, the Higher Education Department, Panchayat Raj, and the Information and Public Relations Department will be present to support the campaign.
