50,000 students, 1,500 principals, school management committees, sarpanches, and alumni will receive awards.

The awards were announced by the Chief Minister during the closing ceremony of the state-level Children’s Day celebrations at the Government High School in Unit IX here today.

Patnaik launched Digi Locker for the Council of Higher Secondary Education (CHSE) and the Board of Secondary Education on this occasion (BSE).

Certificates, mark sheets, and other student documents can be kept safe in this virtual locker and will be easily accessible. There will be no chance of theft or loss.

In his address to the students, the Chief Minister made three critical suggestions. The first is the hour’s call.

He stated that students value their time. The Chief Minister stated that now is the time for children to acquire knowledge, stating that by doing the right thing at the right time, children can stay ahead. He advised children to forge their own identities by excelling in all areas, including sports, dance, and music.

Second, the Chief Minister stated that “change is unavoidable,” and that one must move forward with time and accept change.

While advising them to prepare for future challenges, he stated that the main goal of the 5T transformation is to prepare children for future challenges. He advised children to cultivate a scientific temperament.

Third, when explaining their responsibilities to the children, he told them not to forget their responsibility and respect for those who had contributed to their lives, such as teachers, family, village, and school.

On this occasion, the Chief Minister presented awards to students who had excelled in various fields, as well as unveiled a coffee table book, magazine, and newsletter titled “Mo School.”

Speaking on the occasion, Science and Technology Minister Ashok Panda and School and Mass Education Minister Samir Ranjan Dash praised the Chief Minister’s strong leadership and vision in the field of education.

They claimed that school transformation, the ‘Mo School’ program, and other initiatives would bring about a revolutionary change in the state’s education sector.

Anant Narayan Jena, MLA for Bhubaneswar-Central, and Susant Rout, MLA for Bhubaneswar-North, also spoke at the event.

While Aswathy S, Commissioner-cum-Secretary School & Mass Education Department, delivered the welcome address, OSEPA Project Director offered a vote of thanks at the event.
