Cold wave conditions persisted in parts of Odisha, with at least ten locations recording nighttime temperatures of 10 degrees Celsius or lower on Sunday morning.
According to the IMD, the night temperature dropped by 3 to 4 degrees in the north and north central districts last night.
The Indian Meteorological Department (IMD) reported that G Udaygiri in Kandhamal district recorded the lowest (5 degrees) temperature of the season on Sunday night.

This is the first time in the season, a station recorded 5 degrees Celcius temperature in Odisha. Twin City Bhubaneswar and Cuttack recorded 13 degrees and 13.2 degrees Celcius minimum temperatures on Sunday, the IMD data stated.
