Odisha continued to tremble in coldwave conditions as the mercury dropped. Last night, temperatures in as many as ten locations in the state fell below 10 degrees Celsius.
G Udayagiri in Kandhamal district and Kirei in Sundargarh district recorded the state’s coldest minimum temperatures of 8 degrees Celsius.
Other places that shivered under 10 degree C were Koraput (8.6 degree C), Angul (9 degree C), Keonjhar (8 degree C), Phulbani (9 degree C), Daringibadi (9 degree C), Ranital (9.6 degree C), Sundargarh (9.8 degree C) and Rourkela (9.8 degree C).
People of Twin City Cuttack and Bhubaneswar experienced severe cold as the minimum temperature dropped to 13.5 degree C on Sunday night.
