Today Odisha reports decline in daily COVID-19 cases with 145 fresh infections in last 24 hours, as informed by State Information & Public Relations (I&PR) Department.
Of new COVID cases, 37 infectees belonged to 0-18 age group, 84 were from different quarantine centres and 61 were the local contacts.
While Khordha district registered highest of 25 cases followed by Sambalpur district with 17 new infections, 16 each was reported from Sundargarh and Gajapati districts.
A total of 49,464 samples were tested in the state in the past 24 hours. The daily test positivity rate (TPR) now stands at 0.29%.
