Ahead of the formal inauguration of the Odisha government’s flagship women’s programme, the ‘Subhadra Yojana,’ Deputy Chief Minister Pravati Parida, who also heads the Women and Child Development Department, presented a special online portal with information about the scheme on Monday.
The portal, www.subhadra.odisha.gov.in, will provide comprehensive information about the flagship initiative.
Parida informed reporters that the information available on the website is official and authentic.
She stated that the portal contains all relevant information, such as eligibility criteria and the application process.
She also stated that candidates might file grievances through it.
The Deputy Chief Minister stated that women will be able to register for the initiative for free starting September 4.
The system will be implemented for five years, from 2024-25 to 2028-29 fiscal years.
The State government has set aside Rs 55,825 crore for the initiative, and recipients will receive Rs 10,000 in their bank accounts in two installments per year under the program.
Beneficiaries will get their first installment on September 17, Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s birthday, which is also the date of the formal launch.
